Arrrh! Well, R anyway

Very simple post today, mostly so I don’t forget, but R is an open source statistical package that is amazing.  Eventually I’d like to integrated it with PostGIS for analyses.  In the meantime, I stare off dreamily at other people’s posts on R, e.g.:

    1. Good choice of links. I have much to learn about R and the kinds of clever analyses that can be done. The point clustering tools are a nice addition to Arc. That will get my mind churning on applications for such analyses.

The limit of my R use is for generating spatially-balanced points for environmental monitoring, e.g. http://www.epa.gov/nheerl/arm/designing/design_intro.htm.
